After 11 incredible years in Athlone, it’s time for a new adventure!

We are so grateful for the friendships, loyal customers, and memories we’ve made during that time, and we are looking forward to making new memories and experiences in our new location, which is a little closer to home …………….…. in Grogan’s Bar and Restaurant in Glasson!!!!!

We’ll be preserving the character of the iconic bar while refreshing some areas, serving our award winning food, some golden oldies from  the”OG”, plus some exciting new menu additions.

We’ll always be ready for the chats too!!

And yes… we will finally have draught beer and Guinness! 🍺 Our cocktails are here to stay too, all the favourites and some of Robert’s new exciting creations. 😎

Best of all, your favourite team is coming with us, alongside a few new faces.

Our last service in Athlone will be Saturday, 25th July and we hope to be ready open in Glasson in early August – keep an eye on our social media sites and an ear to the ground!!!

New Schedule Starting September

Dear Valued Customers,

We would like to inform you of an important change to our opening hours, effective September 2025. After careful consideration, we are updating our schedule.

New Opening Hours

• Closed on Sundays and Mondays
• Open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 5pm – 9pm (last booking)
• Open on Friday and Saturday from 3pm – 9:30pm (last booking)

By closing on Sundays and Mondays, we aim to improve our team’s work-life balance and create time for necessary maintenance and restocking. Opening on Thursdays allows us to offer even more opportunities for you to visit and enjoy our services.

Why We Are Making This Change

We have listened closely to our customers’ suggestions and have analysed visiting patterns. These changes are intended to ensure we continue delivering the highest quality experience, while accommodating both the needs of our customers and our staff.
